WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALARA'S CLASSIC FIT AND SLIM FIT SHIRTS?

The Alara Classic fit is a modern cut with some tailoring through the body while still allowing for comfort and ease of motion. The Slim fit has more shaping in the chest, waist and arms for a closer to the body fit. Please refer to the Alara "Size Guide" for more details and information to assist in determining the best fit and size for you.

 

HOW DO I DECIDE WHICH SHIRT SIZE AND CUT TO PURCHASE?

Please refer to the Alara "Size Guide" link for clear and simple guidelines in determining your correct size and cut.

 

CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE FOR AN EXCHANGE OR CREDIT?

Yes, Alara wants you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you need to exchange or return your order, please refer to our "Shipping and Return Policies" link for clear and simple instructions.

 

WHAT IF I NEED EXTRA BUTTONS?

Alara shirts feature fancy mother of pearl blend buttons which resist breakage in the laundering process. Extra buttons are stitched onto the bottom of the center front placket of each shirt, for your convenience. In the rare event that additional buttons are needed, please contact Alara customer service and new buttons will be sent at no charge.

 

HOW MANY DAYS DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ALARA ORDER?

Alara will ship your order within 24 hours of your purchase. Our distribution facility is located in New Jersey which logistically determines the travel time to your address. Please refer to our "Shipping and Return" link to make an informed selection on the shipping method options. Standard ground service will take between 2-5 days.

 

DOES ALARA OFFER NON-IRON SHIRTS?

Alara does not offer non-iron shirts.

 

HOW BEST DO I CARE FOR MY ALARA SHIRTS?

Proper care and laundering of your Alara shirts is important to insure the continued enjoyment and a long wardrobe life. Please take a few minutes to read the Aftercare link on our website to clearly understand the recommended care and laundering. Also, please refer to the simple care instructions stitched into the side seam of each shirt.

 

DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE MY ALARA ORDER?

Alara ships to both residential and business addresses, not to P.O. boxes. A signature is required for your package to insure proper delivery. In the event you are not available to sign for your parcel, the driver will leave a "call tag" on your door advising of the attempted delivery. You may then contact the carrier to schedule redelivery at a convenient time or can waive the "be present requirement" thus authorizing the driver to redeliver without your in person signature and the parcel will be left at your door. In this case, you are accepting full responsibility for loss or theft of the parcel.

 

WHY DOES ALARA USE ONLY EGYPTIAN COTTON FOR ITS SHIRTS?

The management at Alara is passionate about producing a top shelf shirt experience at affordable prices. Creating a great shirt is like creating a great meal; with both you must use the finest ingredients……Egyptian Cottons are one of the best long staple yarns in the world to make fine quality shirts. The hand feel, texture, comfort and longevity of egyptian cotton is second to none. We believe that once you have experienced Alara egyptian cotton shirts, you will only wear Alara!

 

WHERE DOES ALARA PRODUCE ITS SHIRTS AND TIES?

Alara uses only Egyptian Cottons from the top mills in Europe. Our shirts are hand stitched in world renowned shirtmaker facilities in Turkey. The Alara Couture tie collection is produced in Italy using Italian silks. Our business model of purchasing direct from European mills and working directly with the finest shirt and tie makers and then selling directly to the consumer enables Alara to offer high quality products at affordable prices.
